We have found a great website listing all the Altrincham Florists and Altrincham Flower Delivery companies. They also have details of similar Florists in Timperley and Hale.
There are plenty of directories and local listing websites with Florist Listings, but this one is the most comprehensive and up to date of all the ones we found.
Visit www.AltrinchamFlorist.co.uk to find out more.

The House Wine Bar - Review
The House Wine Bar is a new venue located in the quite backwater called Goose Green. For those that don't know where Goose Green is, you can find it by walking from the New Apollo Cinema past Fitness First over the bridge. It can also be accessed on foot from Stamford New Road, oopposite "The Place" bar.
Goose Green is a sleepy square surrounded by restaurants, boutiques and specialist shops. The House Wine Bar recently opened in the Square, next to The House Restaurant.
After a fantastic Steak dinner at The Brasserie, I decided to take my better half off the beaten track to visit The House Wine Bar after seeing it on Onionring. We had gone into Classroom for a drink, but walked out after about 30 seconds due to the choking smoke cloud stopping us from seeing each other!
At 10pm The House Wine Bar was fairly quiet, however the lack of smoke and comfortable furniture drew us in. The barman was very attentive and friendly and produced some very good cocktails including a Long Island Ice Tea with a secret twist. Certainly the best I have tasted, if a bit strong! Fair play to him, he let me have the remainder of the coke bottle to top up the cocktail to suit.
The best bit came soon after arriving when a pianist took his place behind an electric piano in the corner. He played a wide range of music from Beatles to Oasis to Elton John to Frank Sinatra, all of it note perfect and very entertaining.
We were told that they have live music on a Saturday too, I can only assume it would be just as good.
I would certainly recommend this bar for a nice break from the norm. If we lived closer I am sure I would find myself becoming a regular!

The new store is one of only eight in the country and provides High street shopping for the Cheshire set. All staff trained as style advisers, there's make-up, lingerie, and womenswear - by exclusive brands.
If you are a wannabee WAG, this might be the answer to all your prayers!

She said YES! I can now recommend a Jeweller
It has been a while since I last posted, but a lot has happened to us in the past month.
I proposed to Kelly while visiting London and she said YES. Since then we have been pre-occupied with wedding planning!
I can recommend M&M Plant Jewellers to anyone thinking of buying jewellery of any kind. The husband and wife owners are very helpful, very understanding and will give you a good deal. The personal touch is very much lacking in todays retail environment with the advent of the internet, however these guys know about customer service. Little touches like free cleaning and polishing whenever you pop in, make it worth using a local jewellers.
Church and Reception are now booked for May 2008 so we can hopefully relax for a while!
Back to Altrinchamlife development very soon!

Easter Weekend - best for 20 years
What a shame the Easter Weekend had to end on a wet note.
After three days of amazing sunshine we get April showers! Overall it has been the hottest Easter on record for 20 years, so not bad at all.
We managed to enjoy the garden for the first time this year and then spent most of today (Bank Holiday Monday) drinking with friends in a local pub, enjoying our last day of freedom before we have to go back to work.
On an altrincham life note, we are in the process of setting up the new Altrincham Life Directory which will be a free to use, business and local service directory with options to upgrade your listing for a small annual fee. We intend to populate the directory with as many local businesses as possible, but encourage users to update or add their own businesses and services.
Still to come, we will also offer a self service Classifieds System which will allow you to sell your things, from small items to houses all in one place and all local to you. We will keep you informed of the progress and eventual launch of this service. In the meantime you can use the Forum to sell anything you want (keep it clean folks!).
Anyway, back to the grind stone. Looking forward to the May bank holidays!
